In a few words, that is what you can expect from a Minnesota
family vacation at Brookside Resort. We prioritize families in what
we think is the very best place on Earth to spend your summer
time: Minnesota Lakes Country.
Brookside is a one-of-a-kind Minnesota resort for a few reasons.
First, we are one of the largest Minnesota family resorts in the
state. Our size means we have both the space and facilities to
accommodate everyone in your family ranging from a heated–
swimming pool & sauna to a 9 hole golf course to a vintage video
arcade to supervised activities all day, every day.
Second, we are family owned and operated for the last 40 years!
This means that our family takes tremendous pride in maintaining
a beautiful vacation spot but also that serving families is at the–
core of our family’s values. When you invest a week of your family’s
precious vacation time with us, we understand how important that
is and we do everything in our power to make sure you feel
welcome, connected, and relaxed.
Third, we offer an extensive weekly activity schedule to ensure that
each member of your family has lots to do during your vacation.
Our activities include: A Kids’ Pool Party, Kids’ Cruise, Mini Golf
Tournament, supervised Kindernook fun (ages 2-7), FREE
waterskiing lessons, Kids’ Fishing Contest, Sandcastle Contest,
Minnow Races, Golf Tournaments, Pickle Ball Tournament, Staff vs.
Guests Kickball and Volleyball, and of course– – BINGO!
Brookside Resort is located 10 miles south of Itasca State Park and
14 miles north of Park Rapids on Two Inlets Lake. Our 29
housekeeping cabins are clean, modern, and air-conditioned and we
are constantly making upgrades and improvements to both the
cabins and the facilities.
Those facilities include a heated swimming pool, sauna, miniature
golf course, 2 large playgrounds, shuffleboard court, basketball
court, tennis courts, 9 hole golf course, video arcade, ice cream
fountain and sand volleyball court.
Our big project for the summer of 2019 is a renovation to our pool
deck! Because this is one of our most popular amenities and a main
hub for families on vacation, the new space will be bigger and
better. Other projects include replacing windows, a new septic
system for Cabins #1-#4, more new stoves, and more progress on
our bed upgrade plan!

Purchased in 2016 - Cabin 29 is a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom, A-frame cabin boasting
a beautiful, lakefront screen-porch, and completely private lot - including dock, fire
pit, and fish cleaning station. It can sleep up to 9 people and rents from SUNDAY-
SUNDAY.
DEPOSITS
Tentative reservations may be held for up to 5 days without a deposit.
Full deposits are due by January 1st. A portion of the deposit is required
to hold your reservation.
CANCELLATIONS
Deposits are refunded only when the opening created by the cancellation
is filled, minus a $100 processing fee.
FALL GETAWAYS
Fall is a wonderful time to visit Northern Minnesota to see the
changing colors, enjoy good fishing, participate in local events and
activities, check out the bike trails at Itasca State Park or just enjoy the
peace and quiet. We offer reservations during any time of the week -
with a 2 night minimum. Great rates available - including a 2-person
special and a 15% discount for anyone who had a reservation with us
during the 2019 summer!
PWARTIAL EEKS
Can’t get away for a whole week? We are happy to have partial week
rentals available in cabins 26, 27, 28.Please call for rates and openings.

Clean, modern cabins line the lakeshore and river.
Cabins are furnished for housekeeping with
complete kitchens;stoves, refrigerator, microwave,
coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, flatware,
dishes and basic cooking utensils. Some have
ceiling fans and decks, all have picnic tables, grills
and air conditioning. Light housekeeping is
expected by our guests during their stay.
OCCUPANCY
Please note we do enforce printed cabin
maximums (i.e. number of people) due to septic,
insurance and fire guidelines. Count includes all
ages.
LINENS
Our beds are supplied with mattress pads,
blankets, bedspreads and pillows. You have the
choice of bringing your own sheets, pillowcases
and towels, or renting ours. If renting sheets,
PLEASE reserve in advance.We never assume
that you want linens unless you reserve them.
VISITOR POLICIES
Brookside is a private facility maintained
entirely for the use of our guests. Registered
guests may have Day Visitors once during
their stay at no charge. Additional Day Visitors
will be charged our regular extra person rate,
$40/day/person. Persons staying over night
will be charged the extra person nightly rate.

Brookside’s 9 hole - 3 par golf course has a
sprinkler system, bent grass greens and
daily maintenance. Par is 27 with the course
record being 24. Clubs and pull cart rentals
available at the Club House. Our Free golf
weeks for registered guests are the first four
and last three weeks of our summer season.
2019 dates are May 24 through June 22 and
August 10 through September 2. Golf is free
during the month of September for Brookside
guests!
FREE BOATING
Brookside has a fleet of watercraft to use
during your stay. A 14' aluminum boat comes
with your cabin rental. FREE for our guests to
use are canoes, kayaks, paddleboards,
hydrobikes and sailboats. Rentals available
include a ski-boat with 200 HP motor (gear,
gas, driver included), a 20' pontoon, a brand
new 14' fishing boat (with 20 HP motor, depth
finder and trolling motor).We furnish life jackets
to our guests at no cost. PLEASE NOTETHAT
WE DO NOT ALLOW ANY JET SKI TYPE
WATER CRAFTS at Brookside.
FULL SERVICE LODGE
The lodge is centrally located and provides
activities including ping-pong, pool table,
pinball, video games, sauna and heated indoor-
outdoor swimming pool in the game room with a
playloft upstairs for the kids. Our Snack Bar is
another gathering spot with games, library, soda
fountain, and the famous “Brookside Hooker”
game. Our lodge also offers FREE wireless
internet.
TENNIS COURTS
Our double tennis courts are located at our
golf course and always FREE for registered
guests. We have now added Pickle ball lines
and a weekly pickle ball tournament. Both
tennis and pickle ball racquets are available
for use to our guests!
RECREATION AREA
Brookside has an extensive play area.
Facilities include a softball field, paved
basketball court, 9 hole miniature golf
course, grass playfield, sand volleyball court,
pirate ship and castle playground.Equipment
for the games is available in the lodge and all
are FREE of charge.
FISHING

and 650 acres with structure for good varied
fishing. Come fish walleye, northern pike,
crappie, bass, and panfish in our clean lake.
Each cabin shares 32' dock space with one
other cabin. Motors are available to rent. We
carry live bait and limited fishing pole rentals.
Modern fish cleaning house is available.
KINDERNOOK
We provide supervised kids’ activities
Monday thru Friday from 9:30-11:30 AM for
children ages 2 through 7. The program
includes a combination of free play, story
telling, nature walks, songs, crafts and other
activities to help keep the kids happy and
entertained. The Kindernook area is a
fenced-in playground with play-house,
swings, and sand box. The minimum age for
Kindernook is two—we cannot give one-on-
one supervision to toddlers.
SWIMMING POOL
Come swim in our unique Indoor-Outdoor
pool. The 800 sq. ft. heated pool is built with
the shallow end (3-4 ft.) inside the lodge and
the deep end (5-9 ft.) outside surrounded by
sunning deck. The pool hours are 10 AM to
9PMdailyandnolifeguardisonduty.Adults
only swim is offered each night from 9-10 PM
GUEST LAUNDRY
Our guest laundry includes 2 coin-operated
washers, 3 dryers and a large folding table.
The laundry is open 24 hours. Please use
biodegradable soap which is available in the
lodge.
NIGHT LIFE
Brookside has a no excessive noise policy
after 11 PM. If you’re looking for a place
with late night campfires and partying, we
are not for you.
RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
We do not allow ATV’s, dirt bikes or jet skis.
All such equipment must stay trailered on
Brookside property.

In a few words, that is what you can expect from a Minnesota
family vacation at Brookside Resort. We prioritize families in what
we think is the very best place on Earth to spend your summer
time: Minnesota Lakes Country.
Brookside is a one-of-a-kind Minnesota resort for a few reasons.
First, we are one of the largest Minnesota family resorts in the
state. Our size means we have both the space and facilities to
accommodate everyone in your family ranging from a heated–
swimming pool & sauna to a 9 hole golf course to a vintage video
arcade to supervised activities all day, every day.
Second, we are family owned and operated for the last 40 years!
This means that our family takes tremendous pride in maintaining
a beautiful vacation spot but also that serving families is at the–
core of our family’s values. When you invest a week of your family’s
precious vacation time with us, we understand how important that
is and we do everything in our power to make sure you feel
welcome, connected, and relaxed.
Third, we offer an extensive weekly activity schedule to ensure that
each member of your family has lots to do during your vacation.
Our activities include: A Kids’ Pool Party, Kids’ Cruise, Mini Golf
Tournament, supervised Kindernook fun (ages 2-7), FREE
waterskiing lessons, Kids’ Fishing Contest, Sandcastle Contest,
Minnow Races, Golf Tournaments, Pickle Ball Tournament, Staff vs.
Guests Kickball and Volleyball, and of course– – BINGO!
Brookside Resort is located 10 miles south of Itasca State Park and
14 miles north of Park Rapids on Two Inlets Lake. Our 29
housekeeping cabins are clean, modern, and air-conditioned and we
are constantly making upgrades and improvements to both the
cabins and the facilities.
Those facilities include a heated swimming pool, sauna, miniature
golf course, 2 large playgrounds, shuffleboard court, basketball
court, tennis courts, 9 hole golf course, video arcade, ice cream
fountain and sand volleyball court.
Our big project for the summer of 2019 is a renovation to our pool
deck! Because this is one of our most popular amenities and a main
hub for families on vacation, the new space will be bigger and
better. Other projects include replacing windows, a new septic
system for Cabins #1-#4, more new stoves, and more progress on
our bed upgrade plan!

whether you have stayed with us every summer for as long as you
can remember we love sharing the magic of Brookside with every–
single family who stays with us each summer. We have three
generations of family experience in helping you and your family
make summer vacation memories at the lake and it is truly what–

CABIN 29
Purchased in 2016 - Cabin 29 is a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom, A-frame cabin boasting
a beautiful, lakefront screen-porch, and completely private lot - including dock, fire
pit, and fish cleaning station. It can sleep up to 9 people and rents from SUNDAY-
SUNDAY.
DEPOSITS
Tentative reservations may be held for up to 5 days without a deposit.
Full deposits are due by January 1st. A portion of the deposit is required
to hold your reservation.
CANCELLATIONS
Deposits are refunded only when the opening created by the cancellation
is filled, minus a $100 processing fee.
FALL GETAWAYS
Fall is a wonderful time to visit Northern Minnesota to see the
changing colors, enjoy good fishing, participate in local events and
activities, check out the bike trails at Itasca State Park or just enjoy the
peace and quiet. We offer reservations during any time of the week -
with a 2 night minimum. Great rates available - including a 2-person
special and a 15% discount for anyone who had a reservation with us
during the 2019 summer!
PWARTIAL EEKS
Can’t get away for a whole week? We are happy to have partial week
rentals available in cabins 26, 27, 28.Please call for rates and openings.

Check In is 4:30 P.M. • Check Out is 9:00 A.M.
Our cabins are never available before 4:00 P.M. due to
cleaning needs.
RATES BASED ON
2 BRM — 4 people or less
3 BRM — 6 people or less
4 BRM — 8 people or less
EXTRA PERSON RATE
$200 per week or $40.00 per day for each person over the rate base (of 4,
6 or 8).
CHILDREN FREE
Under 17, before June 22 and after August 10. NO CHARGE ever for
children 2 years and under.
PETS
We do not allow pets at Brookside.
