Schedule Guide
Effective April 2014
Fares / Passes / Transfers
Fares:
Regular Fare (ages 6-64 years old): $1.25
Senior (age 65 and older) with I.D.: FREE
Persons with Disabilities with proof of disability: FREE
Children (age 5 and under): FREE (Must be accompanied by
fare-paying adult. Limited to four or fewer children).
Exact change only-drivers do not carry change.
For Persons With Disabilites Fare:
Proof of disability such as: Medicare card, Clovis Transit Round Up
ID card, FAX Special Rider ID card, FAX Handy Ride ID card, and
DMV-issued disabled placard. Passengers may be asked to show
identification or documentation to be eligible for the free fare.
Passes:
 20-ride pass is $23.00 and does not expire. Passes are valid
only on Clovis Transit Stageline buses.
7KH0HWURPass is $48.00 for a calendar month and is valid on
both FAX and Stageline buses. The Metro Pass can be
purchased at Clovis City Hall or Manchester Transit Center.
Transfers
Transfers are free and allow you to use different buses to complete
your one-way trip. Transfers to and from FAX routes are available
upon request and are accepted at all connecting routes. Connecting
stops are indicated by a “T” in a black box on the map. Transfers
ZLOORQO\EHDFFHSWHGDWWKRVHVSHFLÀFVWRSVDQGRQO\IURPWKH
corresponding FAX route.Transfers are valid for one hour after
issuance and are not valid on return trips.
System Transfers are available for portions of Route 10 and Route
50 that loop in a one-way direction. System Transfers are not valid
RQ)$;EXVHVDQGFDQRQO\EHXVHGWRERDUGDEXVDWVSHFLÀF
locations that are indicated on the system map with a “ST” in a
black box. Use a System Transfer at the following locations: on the
Route 10 at Herndon and Clovis Avenues; on the Route 50 at
Bullard and Fowler Avenues and also at Shaw and Fowler Avenues.
Catching the Bus
Please remember that buses will only stop at designated stops that
have a Clovis Transit Stageline bus stop sign.
If you are seated,
please stand as the bus arrives to let the driver know you wish to
board or wave to the driver as the bus approaches.
Due to safety
reasons, drivers are instructed to only stop at designated stops.
Clovis Transit Round Up Service
Clovis Transit Round Up is a curb-to-curb service for persons with
disabilities within Clovis and trips to Fresno. As a shared ride
service you may share your ride with other riders. Appointments for
Round Up trips must be made in advance. Service is available to
those persons who, because of the nature of their disability, are
unable to use the Clovis TUDQVLW6WDJHOLQHÀxed route buses.
Eligibility is determined after completion and evaluation of Clovis
Transit ADA application. Disability information must be completely
e[SODLQHGDQGFRQÀUPHGE\DPHGLFDOSURIHVVLRQDOFor more
information regarding Clovis Transit Round Up or to obtain an
application, please call 324-2760 (TTY 324-2896).
Wheelchair Accessibility
All Clovis Transit buses have wheelchair lifts for easy access by
passengers who either use wheelchairs or have difÀFXOW\FOLPELQJVWDLUV
Service Information
Clovis Transit Stageline service operates from
6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. No
service is provided on the following holidays:
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day,
Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July, or
Presidents’ Day. Limited service will be offered on
the following holidays: Veterans Day, Day after
Thanksgiving and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Limited service consists of all routes operating from
8:00 a.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m. on a 30 and 60
minute headway schedules. Please see separate
special holiday schedule for exact times, and
observed days for some holidays.
Routes run every 30 minutes with the exception of
school routes to Buchanan and Reagan Education
complexes. Route 70 and Route 80 operate during
school days only. Call 324-2770 for school route
schedules and information.
Fresno Area Express (FAX) route 9 serves Clovis
along Shaw Avenue to Sierra Vista Mall from
6:15 a.m. to 8:25 p.m. Monday through Friday and
from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, and
Sundays and limited holidays. For additional FAX

Pass Outlets
Clovis Transit Stageline bus passes may be purchased at
the following locations. You can also purchase passes by
mail. Call 324-2770 to have an envelope and order form
mailed to you.

Bike N Bus
All Stageline buses are equipped with bike racks. The
bike racks are located on the front of the bus and can
accommodate 2 bikes at a time. It is your
responsibility to safely load and unload your bicycle.
Loading your Bike

accessories such as tire pumps or water bottles that
could become loose while the bus is in motion.

will be loading your bike onto the rack.

Unloading your bike
Tell the driver you will be unloading your bike as
you exit the bus
