The Master of Business Administration program at New York Institute of Technology - Vancouver (New York Tech) is

the option between a General MBA, MBA with a Concentration in Finance, and an MBA with a Concentration in

Intakes & Duration
There are three (3) terms in every academic year; Fall (15 wks, Sep.–Dec.), Spring (15 wks, Jan.–Apr.), and Summer (8 wks,
MayJul.). The MBA program ocially is a two (2) year program, however, students will be able to complete it in one year.
Those students, especially ones with bachelor’s degrees in the non-business areas, will be assigned prerequisite courses,
and those courses can be taken on line via Coursera or other options that are available. These prerequisite courses will be
taken before they start the MBA program. The MBA with a Concentration in Finance and Business Analytics takes longer as
this program consists of more credits.

The New York Tech Vancouver Admissions Department will determine how many credits a student must take to complete the MBA on a case-by-
case basis. Once applicants submit their complete application materials, Admissions will inform them how many credits they must take
to complete the MBA and total tuition amount. Total credit requirement depends on whether a student is able to waive courses; generally those with
Bachelor degrees in Business can waive credits towards the MBA Students pursuing MBA with a Concentration in Finance or Business Analytics
are required to take an additional six (6) credits. International students must take minimum 18 credits + Graduate Communications (zero credit) in the
rst year to qualify for Full Time status (6 credits + Graduate Communications in the rst term then minimum 6 credits per term until they graduate)

Concentration in Business Analyitcs
In addition to Waivable Core Courses and Non-waivable Core Courses, students pursuing MBA with Concentration in
Business Analytics are required to take an additional 12 credits (4 courses). From the list below, four (4) elective courses must

Skills and ability to analyze and implement data-driven business processes, form business inferences and predictions
from data, and make optimal and robust business decisions.
