DESCRIPTION
Hydrogen peroxide is the bleaching agent in Cavex
Bite&White. It is added as Hydrogen Peroxide
Superior in order to obtain a sufficiently stable
product. The hydrogen peroxide breaks down
rapidly into oxygen radicals and water. During the
whitening process the free radicals attack the
double carbon bonds that are the source of most
colours (stains) in the tooth.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Cavex Bite&White is a tooth whitening gel for use
in lightening the colour of natural teeth.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
It is recommended to consult a doctor for:
- Pregnant and lactating women.
- Those currently treated for a serious illness.
- Children under the age of 18 years.
INSTRUCTIONS
Preparation procedure
- Review current dental health and make realistic
expectations about final results.
- Provisional or temporary restorations may
discolour during the whitening process while
composite or polycarbonate materials will
remain unaffected. Composite restorations
may require replacement, since only natural
teeth will whiten.
- For aesthetic or adhesive restorations, wait
two weeks after the last whitening treatment
to allow colour stabilization. All restorations
should be intact or well sealed with adequate
temporary materials.
- It is recommended to use a sensitivity relief
product two weeks prior to, and two weeks
after the whitening treatment.
- Determine the “Before tooth shade” with a
photo.
- Polish the teeth with prophy angle and prophy
paste to remove plaque.
Barrier procedure
- Insert a cheek retractor and dry the gingiva with
air.
- Apply the whitening barrier to the gingival
tissue along the margins of the tooth.
- Cure with a curing light for 20 sec.
Whitening procedure
- Apply a thin layer of Cavex Bite&White In-Office
25% HPS gel onto the teeth.
- After ten to fifteen minutes remove the gel by
suction.
- Repeat the application and removal steps two
to three times.
- Rinse the teeth with water and suction.
After treatment procedure
- Determine the “After tooth shade” with a photo.
- Advise the patient to use Cavex Bite&White
ExSense for at least one week after treatment.
POTENTIAL ADVERSE EFFECTS
- Gel that comes into contact with the gingiva
may cause severe soft tissue irritation.
- Increased tooth sensitivity to cold or non-
specific sensitivity in the teeth, gums, tongue,
lips or throat can occur during the treatment.
In general, symptoms should disappear within
a few days after the treatment. The treatment
can be proceeded with shorter, less frequent
applications until the desired whitening effect
has been achieved. If the discomfort remains,
discontinue.
DISPOSAL
- Dispose of device in accordance with local
waste regulations.

DESCRIPTION
Cavex Bite&White In-Office Whitening Barrier/
Spacer is a light-cured resin barrier based on
methacrylate used for isolating gingival tissue from
coming into contact with whitening gel. For single
tooth whitening it may be used to protect adjacent
teeth from whitening.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Insert a cheek retractor and dry the gingiva with
air.
- Apply the whitening barrier to the gingival tissue
along the margins of the tooth.
- Cure with a curing light for 20 sec.
DISPOSAL
- Dispose of device in accordance with local waste
regulations.
IN-OFFICE WHITENING
WARNINGS & FIRST AID INSTRUCTIONS
If gel is swallowed, immediately drink water, do
not induce vomiting and contact a doctor.
- If gel gets into eyes, hold eyelids apart and flush
the eye continuously with running water for at
least fifteen minutes and contact a doctor.
- If clothing, skin or hair contact occurs, remove
contaminated clothing and flush skin or hair with
running water.
STORAGE ADVICE
Store in a cool, dry place (frost-free) and protected
from direct sunlight.
Do not use the material after the expiry date.

INDICACIONES DE USO
Cavex Bite&White es un gel de blanqueamiento

INSTRUCCIONES
Procedimiento de preparación
- Analice la salud dental actual y establezca
expectativas realistas sobre los resultados
finales.
- Las restauraciones provisionales o temporales
pueden decolorarse durante el proceso de
blanqueamiento mientras que los materiales
de composite o policarbonato no se verán
afectados. Las restauraciones de composite
posiblemente deberán de reemplazarse, puesto
que solo los dientes naturales se blanquearán.
- Para restauraciones estéticas o adhesivas
debe esperar dos semanas después del último
tratamiento de blanqueamiento para que el color
pueda estabilizarse. Todas las restauraciones
deben estar intactas o correctamente selladas
con materiales provisionales adecuados.
- Se recomienda utilizar un producto de alivio de
sensibilidad dos semanas antes y dos semanas
después del tratamiento de blanqueamiento.
- Determine el “color del diente antes” con una foto.
- Pula los dientes con un contraángulo y pasta
profiláctica para eliminar la placa.
Procedimiento de barrera gingival
- Inserte un retractor de mejillas y seque la encía
con aire.
- Aplique la barrera al tejido gingival a lo largo de
los márgenes de los dientes.
- Fotopolimerice durante 20 segundos.
Procedimiento de blanqueamiento
- Aplique una capa fina de gel HPS al 25 % de
Cavex Bite&White para el consultorio sobre los
dientes.
- Después de diez a quince minutos, retire el gel
por aspiración.
- Repita los pasos de aplicación y eliminación dos
a tres veces.
- Enjuague los dientes con agua y succión.
Después del procedimiento de tratamiento
- Determine el “color del diente después” con una
foto.
- Aconseje al paciente utilizar Cavex Bite&White
ExSense durante al menos una semana después
del tratamiento.
POSIBLES EFECTOS ADVERSOS
- El gel que entre en contacto con la encía puede
causar grave irritación de los tejidos blandos.
- Durante el tratamiento puede producirse una
mayor sensibilidad dental al frío o sensibilidad no
específica de los dientes, las encías, la lengua,
los labios o la garganta. En general, los síntomas
suelen desaparecer unos días después del fin
del tratamiento. El tratamiento puede continuarse
con aplicaciones más cortas y menos frecuentes
hasta que se logre el efecto de blanqueamiento
deseado. Si el malestar persiste, suspenda el
tratamiento.

ADVERTENCIAS E INSTRUCCIONES DE
PRIMEROS AUXILIOS
- Si ingiere el gel, debe beber inmediatamente
agua, no inducir el vómito y consultar a un
médico.
- Si el gel entra en contacto con los ojos, abra los
párpados, enjuague el ojo continuamente con
agua corriente durante al menos quince minutos
y consulte a un médico.
- Si el producto entra en contacto con la ropa,
la piel y el pelo, quítese la ropa contaminada y

ALMACENAMIENTO RECOMENDADO
Conservar en un lugar fresco y seco (no congelar) y

工作原理
“Cavex咬而白”是透過美白凝膠中的過

美白過程中，游離基會攻擊雙碳化合物，而
雙碳化合物，正是大多數情況下牙齒變黃（
染色）的根源。
適用範圍
“Cavex咬而白”是凝膠狀的牙齒美白劑，
用於把自然牙齒的顏色變白變亮。
不適用範圍
下列人群不宜使用本產品，如要使用，建議
您諮詢醫生：
- 懷孕和哺乳的婦女
- 因嚴重疾病而正在接受治療的人
- 18歲以下的少年兒童
操作指南
準備步驟
- 檢查牙齒目前的健康狀況，對（美白）最
終結果做出切實可行的預期。
- 臨時的或短期使用的牙齒贋復體（假牙
等）在美白過程中可能會變色，但複合
材料或聚碳酸酯的材料並不會受美白
療程的影響，因此，複合材的牙齒贋復
體可能會（為了美觀）需要更換，因為只
有自然牙能被美白。
- 而美觀性或黏著性的贋復體，在最近一
次漂白後，要等兩個星期才能讓顏色 穩

25%HPC 美白凝膠塗抹在牙齒上，塗抹
一個薄層即可。
- 10 – 15分鐘後，用吸唾管將美白凝膠去
除。
- 把上述塗抹後去除的步驟重複2-3次。
- 用水和吸唾管清洗牙齒。
漂白後步驟
- 拍一張照片，記錄“美白後牙齒的顏色”
。
- 建議接受漂白的患者，在美白（治療）後
至少一個星期間使用“CAVEX 咬而白
”ExSense 抗敏凝霜。
可能出現的副作用
- 如美白凝膠接觸到牙齦，可能會導致軟
組織的嚴重疼痛。
- 在美白（治療）期間，可能會增加牙齒對
冰冷環境或牙齒、牙齦、舌、嘴唇、喉嚨
的不特定的敏感狀況，通常這樣的症狀
會在美白（治療）結束後的幾天內消失。
療程還是可以以縮短美白凝膠施用時
間、施用頻率的方式繼續進行，直到達
到欲想的美白效果，但如果上述症狀持
續存在，則應該終止療程。
用後處理
- 使用後，按照當地的廢棄物處理規定處
理本產品。
工作原理
“Cavex咬而白” 是透過美白凝膠中的過
氧化氫達到美白的效果。過氧化氫以優等
過氧化氫（Hydrogen Peroxide Superior）
的形式被加入，以讓本產品具有足夠穩定
度。過氧化氫能很快溶解到氧基和水中。在
美白過程中，游離基會攻擊雙碳化合物，而
雙碳化合物，正是大多數情況下牙齒變黃（
染色）的根源。
適用範圍
“Cavex咬而白”是凝膠狀的牙齒美白劑，
用於把自然牙的顏色變白變亮。
不適用範圍
下列人群不宜使用本產品，如要使用，建議
您諮詢醫生：
- 懷孕和哺乳的婦女
- 因嚴重疾病而正在接受治療的人
- 18歲以下的少年兒童

警告與急救指南
- 如有美白凝膠被吞食，請立即飲水，不
要催吐，並聯繫醫生。
- 如有美白凝膠進入眼睛，請保持眼睛睜
開，不間斷地用流動水沖洗眼睛至少15
分鐘，並聯繫醫生。
- 如有漂白劑接觸到衣物、皮膚或毛髮，
脫掉被接觸的衣服，用流動水沖洗皮膚
或毛髮。
存儲建議
於陰涼乾燥（無霜凍）處保存，避免陽光
直 射。
請勿在有效期後使用本物品。
