Q. To which destinations does Vistara operate on travel bubble flights from
India?

Q. Can I book my ticket for onward travel from the point of destination?
A. Vistara is offering only point to point travel.
Q. How and where can I book my ticket for traveling from India on the
travel bubble flights?
A. New tickets can be booked via our website www.airvistara.com, through the
travel agent or by calling our Customer Service Center on +91 9289228888.
Q. I already have a Vistara ticket for the sector I wish to travel on.
Can I use the same?
A. For passengers with valid Vistara tickets (i.e ticket number starting with 228) for the
sector of travel, an additional charge would be applicable. Please contact Vistara
ticketing offices or the Customer Service Center +91 9289228888 for further details.
Q. I am already holding a Visa for the destination country. Am I eligible to travel?
A. For Vistara operated flights to Dubai from India, please note the following eligibility
guidelines as on date:
Flights to Dubai are applicable for:
UAE nationals and their first-degree relatives.
UAE residents with gold or silver residency permit.
Diplomatic personnel between the UAE and India, including the administrative
workers in the embassies of the UAE and the embassies of India.
Official delegations, subject to obtaining prior approval.
Travel requirements:
RT-PCR test within 48 hours from the date of departure and provided that:
i) It is showing negative result.
ii) It is conducted by an accredited laboratory, and it bears a QR Code.
iii) The time of sample collection (date and time of sample collection) and
sample reporting (date and time of test result) is mentioned accurately.
Passengers entering UAE shall:
i) Be subject to the required public health protocol upon arrival and any
naturalization and residency conditions.
ii) Wear a monitoring and tracking device.
iii) Comply with a 10-day quarantine period; and complete a RT-PCR test upon
arrival followed by two other RT-PCR tests on the 4th day and 8th day of
their quarantine period.
When travelling to UAE or Doha, please note the below requirement:
“OK To Board” message is not required for the following categories of
passengers for travel to UAE and Doha:
o Passengers holding valid resident permit or passport stamped with Resident
Visa.
o Passengers eligible for “Visa on Arrival” irrespective of nationality.
For passengers travelling with a print-out of Business and Tourist e-Visa, “Ok To
Board” message is mandatory for the below categories:
o All customers holding ECR (Immigration Check Required) passport.
o All customers travelling with a print-out of labour and work e-visa.
All passenger movement to UAE from any point in the Republic of India stands
suspended till 14-June-2021.
This decision does not apply to the members of the diplomatic missions, UAE nationals,
holders of a UAE golden visa, and passengers who exempted or granted permission to
enter UAE by the appropriate authorities.
Passengers who are exempted as stated above shall comply with the following, on and
after arrival:
1. All inbound passengers shall be quarantined for 10 days from the date of arrival.
2. PCR tests for these passengers will be carried out upon arrival at the airport, and on
the 4th and 8th day from the date of arrival.
3. Passengers must ensure that they are holding a valid COVID-19 test certificate that
is issued within the valid time frame, namely, 48 hours from the time of collecting
the sample. They should also ensure that the time of sample collection- ‘Date &
Time’ and time of reporting- ‘Result date and Result time’ are accurate.
4. Only PCR test reports from certified labs which use QR code shall be accepted.
Please be advised that this decision does not apply to outbound passengers travelling from
UAE to India.
Flights to Dubai are applicable for:
• Indian citizens with a valid UAE Visa including tourist Visa
• UAE nationals
• UAE residents
• Any Indian national or national of Nepal or Bhutan destined for UAE or any
country in South America or Africa only and holding a valid visa of the
destination country.
• Passengers traveling on flights from lndia to UAE should be destined for UAE
or any country in South America or Africa only. Similarly, only passengers
originating from UAE or any country in South America or Africa should be
allowed to travel on flights from UAE to lndia.
• Passengers holding a valid Dubai Visa must have return approval from the
General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) or the Federal
Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA).
• Passengers holding Emirates Visa (except Dubai Visa) do not require approval
from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) or
Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) on the condition that they
get “OK TO BOARD” updated before their travel.
• The certificate must be issued by an approved lab listed on
https://www.icmr.gov.in/ or screening.purehealth.ae.
• UAE residents are required to obtain entry permission from the federal
authority from this link. This service shall allow residents from other Emirates
with valid resident Visa to confirm entry/re-entry to the UAE.
• Residents whose residency is issued from Dubai will need to obtain the
entry/return permit from this link before their return to Dubai.
• All travellers will need to fill a travel undertaking form and hand it over to
Dubai authorities.
• Nationality of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, or Bangladesh and holding a
Visit or Tourist Visa, they must also have a valid return ticket to be able to travel
to Dubai, otherwise they will not be eligible to travel. This does not apply to:
- Children younger than 12 years
- Passengers with severe or moderate disabilities
Travel requirements:
• UAE Nationals do not require a PCR test prior to departure. They will only be
required to undergo a PCR test on arrival in Dubai.
• UAE Residents travelling to Dubai from India must take two Coronavirus
(COVID19) PCR tests: one before departure with a validity of 48 hours from the
date of the test, and a second test upon arrival in Dubai.
•All Passengers entering Dubai must take two Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR
tests: one before departure with a validity of 48 hours from the date of the test,
and a second test upon arrival in Dubai.

• Passengers must also download the COVID19 – DXB Smart App available on
iOS and Android.
All passengers travelling to Dubai, including those with a connecting flight,
must complete this and give it to the staff at check-in.
Passengers will also need to complete the quarantine undertaking form if Dubai
is your final destination. Please submit this form to the Dubai Health Authority
staff on arrival.
As per the advisory issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the copy of
the COVID-19 PCR test report submitted by passengers must have a QR code
linking to their original test report.
The time of sample collection (date and time of sample collection)
and sample reporting (date and time of test result) much be mentioned
accurately.
When travelling to Dubai or Doha, please note the below requirement: “OK To

For Vistara operated flights to London from India, please note the following guidelines as
on date:
If you arrive in the UK from India before 4am Friday 23 April 2021, you must
self-isolate for 10 days in the place you are staying and take a COVID-19 test on
day 2 and day 8. Visit this link for more information on how to self-isolate in the

From 4am Friday 23 April 2021, if you have been in India in the previous 10 days,
you will only be allowed to enter the UK if you are a British, Irish or third-country
national with residency rights. You will need to quarantine in a managed

Categories of passenger permitted to travel to the UK following red listing on
23-4-21:
British Citizens (including those with dual nationality)
Irish Citizens (including those with dual nationality)
Individuals with protected rights by the saved EEA regulations, including:
o Those with a right of permanent residence under the saved EEA
Regulations
o Holders of EU Settlement Scheme (“EUSS”) leave
o Those who hold an existing qualification under the terms of the
‘Withdrawal Agreement’
o Family members of EEA nationals with rights under the ‘Withdrawal
Agreement’
Third country nationals who are resident in the UK. For these purposes those
with residence are defined as:
o Holders of settlement (indefinite leave)
o Holders of existing permission to enter or stay remain, or an entry
clearance that grants such permission e.g., students, workers, etc.
(excluding visit visas)
Crew of unaccompanied freight, where crew will be expected to stay on the
vessel or plane - Crew disembarking from the aircraft/vessel and planning to
enter the UK will be subject to the passenger locator form (PLF) and self-
isolation requirements, and also subject to the entry ban if they are visitors (not
UK or Irish citizens or third country nationals with residence rights in the UK).
Diplomats
Passengers arriving via Common Travel Area (CTA) routes
Hauliers who have departed from or transited through Portugal in the last 10
days.
Newly issued 90-day BRP vignette holders where leave has not yet been
activated.
Short term study visa holders
ODWs holding valid visas if travelling to the UK with the employer, their partner,
or children.
Nurses appointed by the Department for Health and Social Care will be exempt
from Government quarantine on arrival in the UK, as they will be allowed to
quarantine in NHS-provided accommodation.
They will hold Health and Care Worker visas, guidance available at:

To demonstrate eligibility for exemption nurses will have (and be prepared to
show at departure and immigration) a copy/online provision of:
A letter of exemption from their employing NHS Trust which will include:
o The nurse’s name and date of birth
o Passport number
o Certificate of sponsorship number
o Name of employing Trust and Trust contact number
o Date of arrival and arrival airport.
A sponsorship certificate issued from the same NHS Trust to include:
o The nurse’s name and date of birth
o Name of the employing NHS Trust
o Passport Number
Flights to UK are applicable for:
UK Nationals/Residents.
Indian Nationals holding any type of UK Visa and destined for UK only.
Seaman of foreign nationalities or Seaman holding Indian Passport post subject
to clearance from Ministry of Shipping.
With effect from 04:00 Monday 08 March 2021, the Health Protection
(Coronavirus, Public Health Information for Passengers Travelling to England)
Regulations 2020 include a requirement for passengers to be provided with
information on the legally permitted reasons for travel and a new travel
declaration form which passengers must complete. Updated guidelines have
been published here.
With effect from 00.00 Monday 08 March 2021 passengers travelling from
England out of the UK are required to carry a travel declaration form. Passengers
whose final destination is within the Common Travel Area (Ireland, Channel
Islands, Isle of Man) are not required to complete the form. Under 18 years or
those that lack capacity are not required to complete the form, unless travelling
with a responsible adult, who should complete the form on their behalf.
Passengers are required to provide their journey and contact details before their
flight here.
Passengers may be required to self-isolate for 10 days upon arrival. Different
self-isolation rules and penalties apply depending on whether you are travelling
to England/Scotland/Wales or North Ireland. Please refer to this link before your
travel.
Please note the important changes to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Public
Health Information for Passengers Travelling to England) Regulations 2020:
From 15
th
December onwards, anyone currently required to self-isolate on
arrival to England because they have been in a country, territory, or region not
on the travel corridor list in the past 14 days will be able to opt into the Test to
Release for International Travel scheme.
International arrival passengers can choose to pay for a private COVID-19 test.
The earliest they can take the test is at least 5 days after they have left a
destination not on the travel corridor list. If the result is negative, they can stop
self-isolating.

To take part in the scheme, international arrival passengers need to book a test with a
private test provider. A list of private test providers will be published here.
RT-PCR required prior arrival into UK:
From 4AM on 18 January 2021, you are required to present a negative COVID-19
test taken up to 72 hours prior to departure. Passengers failing to do so may be
denied boarding and could be fined £500 on arrival into England.
All passengers arriving from countries not on the government’s travel corridor
list will still be required to self-isolate for 10 days, regardless of test result.
Passengers will still be required to fill in a passenger locator form and be
subject to national lockdown restrictions.
From 15 February, passengers must:
Take two COVID-19 tests after you arrive in England you will need to book
these before you travel.
Either quarantine in the place you are staying or in a managed quarantine hotel
for 10 days when you arrive in England.
What you need to do depends on where you travel in the 10 days before you
arrive in England.
If you travel in or through a country on the banned travel list (sometimes called
the ‘red list’) in those 10 days, you will need to quarantine in a managed
quarantine hotel. If you do not travel in or through a country on the banned
travel list in those 10 days, you will need to quarantine in the place you are
staying.

For Vistara operated flights to and from Dhaka, please note the following guidelines as on
date:
Eligibility criteria and travel guidelines when travelling to Dhaka from India:
Passengers need to obtain the Visa for Bangladesh before travel.
Applicable for any nationality Passport holder.
All passengers arriving in Bangladesh are required to fill a self-health declaration
form and submit the same to the health authorities on arrival.
Irrespective of the COVID-19 vaccination, all nationals coming to Bangladesh with
valid Visas will be required to produce a medical certificate (with English translation)
to be obtained within 72 hours of travel, indicating that he/she is ‘COVID-19
Negative’. Children below the age of 10 years are exempted from the same.
If no COVID-19 symptoms are found on-arrival health checks, passengers shall
strictly have to complete a 14 days home quarantine. However, if any COVID-19
symptoms are detected/observed, he/she shall have to complete mandatory 14
(fourteen) days isolation at government facilities at passenger’s own expenses.
Bangladeshi nationals in possession of NVR arriving without the required ‘COVID-
19 Negative’ certificate, would be institutionally quarantined for 14 days. Children
below the age of 10 years are exempted from the same.
Bangladeshi nationals in possession of NVR arriving with the required ‘COVID-19
Negative’ certificate would be required to home/self-quarantine for 14 days.
However, if he/she is diagnosed with any symptom of COVID-19 on his/her arrival,
he/she would be institutionally quarantined for 14 days.
Children below the age of 10 years are exempted from the same.
For passengers travelling to Dhaka from the United Kingdom:
All passengers coming from the United Kingdom directly or through any
intermediate points will be required to undergo mandatory institutional quarantine
(as decided by the competent health authority) for at least 14 days.
Passengers from the European countries except UK and the countries listed below will
not be allowed to enter in Bangladesh:
1. Argentina
2. Bahrain
3. Brazil
4. Chile
5. Jordan
6. Kuwait
7. Lebanon
8. Peru
9. Qatar
10. South Africa
11. Turkey
12. Uruguay
Passengers coming from countries except those mentioned above and exit from the
transit Airport, COVID-19 negative certificates shall become null and void.
A fresh PCR based COVID-19 negative certificate shall be obtained with the PCR
test done within 72 hours of the flight departure from that point.
In addition, on arrival in Bangladesh, all such passengers shall have to complete
mandatory 04 (four) days institutional quarantine at government facilities or
government approved hotel at passenger’s own expenses. Sample will be collected
for the COVID-19 PCR and the passenger will be released to complete the total 14
(fourteen) days home quarantine (including the institutional quarantine time) if the
COVID-19 PCR test result is Negative.
Eligibility criteria when travelling from Dhaka to India:
Applicable for Indian Nationals.
All overseas citizens of India (OCI) cardholders holding passports issued by
Bangladesh.
Bangladeshi nationals/residents (including diplomats) and foreigners (including
diplomats) holding valid Visa issued by Indian mission in any category covered
under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated 30.06.2020.

For Vistara operated flights to and from Doha, please note the below guidelines as on date:
For all passengers coming from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and
Philippines; this includes those who transit through other countries but whose original
flight is from any of the aforementioned 6 countries (e.g., India Kuwait Doha); the below
guidelines are applicable with immediate effect:
All passengers whose original flight is from the said countries are subject to
mandatory COVID-19 PCR test done 48 hours before departure from the testing
centers approved by their local health authority.
No one shall be allowed to board unless valid certificate is provided regardless of
being vaccinated against COVID-19, presence of immunity as a result COVID-19
infection within the past 6 months, age, or health condition.
All passengers from the said countries must undergo a repeat COVID-19 PCR test
in hotel quarantine or Mekhaines facility within one day of flight arrival.
All passengers from the said countries must undergo 10 days quarantine in a
dedicated quarantine facility, or 14 days if quarantine is at Mekhaines facility,
regardless of previous vaccination or immunity against COVID-19; no one is allowed
private quarantine for these passengers.
All of the established criteria for hotel/home quarantine exemptions do not apply
to travelers from the said countries.
Government employees from the different ministries and other governmental
entities on official missions that are 72 hours or less will be subjected to the current
protocols that are approved by MOPH.
Medical Escorts will be allowed to board the aircraft, but they will be subject to
conditions stated above in points 2 to 4 on their return to Qatar.
All passengers transiting through Qatar must have the mandatory pre-travel PCR
test as mentioned in point 1, and in case they require another PCR test for their
onward destination, they can avail it on standard fee of QAR 300/- per test.
Hotel Quarantine and Mekhaines Facilities:
All passengers to undergoes PCR tests on arrival/or on Day 1, repeat tests on Day 5
and Day 9. If found negative on Day 9 test, they should be discharged once result is
released on Day 10.
Mandatory PCR negative test result is required to enter Qatar effective Sunday, 25
th
April
2021. Passengers to obtain the same from origin country/local health ministry approved
medical centers (ICMR approved), 72 hours prior to arrival.
For passengers travelling from India to Qatar:
General Conditions:
All GCC nationals including Qataris should use their passports to enter the State
of Qatar and not their National ID cards.
All arriving passengers must install “EHTERAZ” application on their cell phone.
Each passenger must complete “Health Assessment Form for Returning
Travelers” before arrival to Qatar.
Exceptional Entry permit copy should be carried by the passengers to be
presented on arrival.
Acknowledgment and commitment to comply with home quarantine (if eligible)
procedures form to be filled.
Below listed passengers should follow the conditions hereunder:
Qatari Nationals, their spouses, their children, and companions arriving with them
on the same flights.
Permanent Residency Card holders.
GCC nationals using their passport only along with their companions under their
sponsorship traveling on the same flights.
Exceptional Return Permit holders.
Foreign Diplomats on mission to the State of Qatar, holders of Administrative IDs
and staff of International Organizations.
Any Indian national or national of Nepal or Bhutan destined for Qatar or any country
in South America or Africa only and holding a valid visa of the destination country.
Passengers traveling on flights from lndia to Qatar should be destined for Qatar or
any country in South America or Africa only. Similarly, only passengers originating
from Qatar or any country in South America or Africa should be allowed to travel
on flights from Qatar to lndia.
When travelling to the State of Qatar from the countries mentioned in the list of
Low Risk countries published by MOPH, passengers will need to take a Coronavirus
test upon arrival at the airport. To check the published list, please click here
https://covid19.moph.gov.qa/EN/Pages/default.aspx. They will also need to sign a
formal pledge to adhere to the quarantine at home for a week and provide a duly
“completed health assessment form for returning travelers”. Passengers arriving
from Low Risk countries must have stayed in the Low Risk country for at least 72
hours prior to their departure to Qatar.
When travelling from countries that are not included in the list of low-risk countries
i.e. high-risk countries they will take a COVID-19 test upon arrival at the airport. They
must hold a 7-day hotel quarantine booking issued for the approved quarantine
hotels through Discover Qatar https://www.discoverqatar.qa/welcome-home/. They
also need to provide a duly completed “health assessment form for returning
travelers”.
Resident Permit Card Holders
When travelling to the State of Qatar from the countries mentioned in the Low
Risk countries list, passengers must hold an “Exceptional Entry Permit” allowing
them to return to Qatar which will state the type i.e. self or hotel and number of
days of quarantine. They will also need to sign a formal pledge to adhere to the
quarantine at home for a week if eligible and provide a duly completed “health
assessment form for returning travelers”. They will need to take a Coronavirus
test upon arrival at the airport. Passengers arriving from Low Risk countries must
have stayed in the Low Risk countries for at least 72 hours prior to their
departure to Qatar.
When departing from other countries that are not included in the list of low-risk
countries i.e. high-risk country then:
They must hold an “Exceptional Entry Permit” allowing them to return to Qatar
which will state the type and number of days of quarantine.
They need to provide a duly completed “health assessment form for returning
travelers”.
Must hold a hotel quarantine booking for the duration mentioned on the
approval issued for the approved quarantine hotels booked through Discover
Qatar https://www.discoverqatar.qa/welcome-home/
They will take a COVID-19 test upon arrival at the airport.
Resident Permit Card Holders: Domestic staff, company sponsored and other workers
The “Exceptional Entry Permit” issued for this category of RP holders will state
that they need to hotel quarantine for 14 days. Airlines must ensure that
passengers must hold hotel bookings as per the requirement stated on the
“Exceptional Entry Permits”. Hotel booking and more details can be found on
Discover Qatar website https://www.discoverqatar.qa/welcome-home/. They
need to provide a duly completed “health assessment form for returning
travelers”.
Exemption:
Following categories are eligible for home quarantine, regardless of the country from
which they arrive along with their travel companions on their sponsorship. In case they
are holding an “Exceptional Entry permit” it will reflect home quarantine.
Those over 55
Those who have had an organ or spinal cord transplant
Those who receive immunosuppressive therapy
Those who suffer from heart disease
Those who suffer from moderate to severe asthma
Those who receive cancer treatment
Pregnant women
Babysitting mothers with children up to five years-old
Those who suffer from kidney failure
Those with chronic liver disease
Those with lower limb amputation
Those with disabilities who require support to carry out activities
Disabled children and their mothers
Those who suffer from epilepsy and receive treatment
Those with diabetic foot
Those with immediate relatives who have died in the 10 days prior to their arrival
Those receiving treatment for mental and psychiatric illnesses, and people
suffering from claustrophobia
Those who suffer from diabetes and receive treatment
Those who have high blood pressure
Additional information:
Upon arrival, the EHTERAZ app Health status should be Yellow.
Passengers will proceed to one of the accredited health centers by the end of the
one week self-quarantine to do the PCR test and according to the test result,
passengers will then follow the rest of the procedures published on the Ministry of
Public Health website.
List of Low Risk countries will be reviewed every 2 weeks.

Transiting Germany:
From Schengen countries that are classified as "area of variant of concern": Any
transit via Germany is only allowed for German nationals, their immediate family
members, and holders of German resident permit.
From "areas of variant of concern", transiting to German domestic flights and
Schengen destinations is only allowed for German nationals, their immediate
family members, and holders of German resident permit.
From "areas of variant of concern", transiting to non-Schengen destinations is
allowed to any national. The destination countries' entry regulations must be
adhered to.
The following requirements must be met to enter or transit Germany from "areas of
variant of concern:
Passengers must provide a negative COVID-19 test certificate (PCR, Antigen, RT-
LAMP or TMA test) based on a sample collected (swab) no more than 72 hours
before scheduled time of arrival in Germany.
Passengers must register online at https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de/#/.
Passengers entering Germany are required to quarantine for 14 days.
To comply with a decision by the German government, all passengers six years
and older who wish to enter Germany must present a negative COVID-19 test
at the time of departure.
The test must be done no more than 72 hours before arrival in Germany.
Antigen, PCR, LAMP and TMA tests performed at certified testing sites are
accepted and test certificates must be provided in German, English or French.
Self-tests are not accepted. The testing requirement also applies to passengers
who are vaccinated against COVID-19.
This applies both to passengers with their final destination as Germany, as well
as to passengers with a connecting flight from Germany to another destination.
Entry regulations into and via Germany depend on the risk classifications for all
countries as defined by the Robert-Koch-Institute (RKI). Please find the risk

1. Traveling to Germany from “areas of variant of concern: INDIA
Entering Germany:
Only German nationals, their immediate family members and holders of German
resident permit are allowed to enter Germany from “areas of variant of concern”.
Transiting Germany:
From Schengen countries that are classified as "area of variant of concern": Any
transit via Germany is only allowed to German nationals, their immediate family
members, and holders of German resident permit.
From "areas of variant of concern", transiting to German domestic flights and
Schengen destinations is only allowed to German nationals, their immediate
family members, and holders of German resident permit.
From "areas of variant of concern", transiting to Non-Schengen destinations is
allowed to any national. The destination countries' entry regulations must be
adhered to.
2. The following requirements must be met to enter or transit Germany from "areas of
variant of concern:
Travelers must provide a negative COVID-19 test certificate (PCR, Antigen, RT-
LAMP or TMA test) based on a sample collected (swab) no more than 72 hours
before scheduled time of arrival in Germany.
Travelers must register online at https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de/#/.
Travelers entering Germany are required to quarantine for 14 days.
3. To comply with a decision by the German government, all passengers six years and
older who wish to enter Germany must present a negative COVID-19 test at the
time of departure.
The test must be done no more than 72 hours before arrival in Germany.
Antigen, PCR, LAMP and TMA tests performed at certified testing sites are
accepted and test certificates must be provided in German, English or French.
Self-tests are not accepted. The testing requirement also applies to passengers
who are vaccinated against COVID-19.
This applies both to passengers with final destination in Germany, as well as to
passengers with a connecting flight in Germany to another destination.

1. For passengers entering Germany:
It is mandatory to pre-register here before boarding.
After you have given all the necessary information in full, you will receive a PDF
file as confirmation. Passengers must present this confirmation to the airline
before boarding. In the absence of confirmation, boarding can be denied.
If, in exceptional cases, it is not possible to submit a digital entry registration,
you must instead fill out a replacement notification in paper form which can be
downloaded from this link.
You are exempted from completing digital registration on entry if one of the
following applies:
You only passed through a risk area without a stopover.
You are only passing through Germany.
You spent less than 24 hours in a risk area under the border traffic with
neighboring countries regime or are entering Germany for no more than 24
hours or
You are entering Germany on business for the purpose of the international
transportation of people, goods or merchandise by road, rail, ship, or plane.
Travellers from high-risk areas with particularly high incidences or virus
mutations must present a negative test result before departure and upon entry
no later than 48 hours.
Without a negative test result Travellers will not be expected for boarding.
Travellers who have visited any other risk area (neither high incidence area nor
virus variant area) during the ten days prior to entry into Germany must be in
possession of a test result no later than 48 hours after entry and present it to
the competent authorities upon request.
The lists of high incidence areas, virus variant areas and other risk areas are
published on the website of the Robert Koch Institute.
The test must have been performed no more than 48 hours prior to entry (time
of swabbing). Proof of the test result must be on paper or in an electronic
document in English, French or German. Travellers can find details regarding the
test requirements on the website of the Robert Koch Institute. The test result
must be kept for at least ten days after entry.
No exceptions can be made for entry from virus variant areas.
Regardless of the test result, there is a quarantine obligation in accordance with
the regulations of the respective land.

2. Passengers must quarantine (at home or hotel, wherever they are staying) for 10
days. It is important that passengers are in quarantine until they have their test
results. The health department can ask passengers to present a negative test result
within 10 days of entry or, if they do not have such a result, to take a test.
The quarantine at home usually ends after five days, even with a negative test
result. Please note the regulations of your federal state for the quarantine
regulations. Please also note possible exceptions to the quarantine obligation
according to the law of your federal state (in particular for those passing through
and cross-border commuters).
The test can be performed either at the test center in the AIrRail check-in at
Frankfurt Airport, directly at your general practitioner at the agreed time or at a

As proof of entry from a risk area, passengers must carry the entry registration
to enable to have the test performed free of charge within 10 days after entry.
Violations of rules and regulations can be punished with a fine up to EUR 25,000.
Eligibility:
Eligibility criteria for passengers travelling to Germany from India:
Stranded nationals/residents of Germany, foreign nationals destined for
EU/Schengen area, South America, or Africa (except South Africa) only and
transiting through Germany or spouses of these persons, whether
accompanying or otherwise.
Any Indian national or national of Nepal or Bhutan destined for any country
in EU/Schengen area, South America, or Africa (except South Africa) only
and holding a valid visa of the destination country.
Seamen of foreign nationalities and Seamen holding Indian passports would
be allowed subject to clearance from the Ministry of Shipping. Seamen
should be destined for countries in the EU/Schengen area, South America
or Africa (except South Africa) only.
Eligibility criteria for passengers to India from Germany:
Indian nationals or nationals of Nepal or Bhutan stranded in any country in
EU/Schengen area, South America, or Africa (except South Africa) only.
All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders and PIO cardholders holding
passports of any country.
All foreign nationals (from any country in EU/Schengen area, South America,
or Africa (except South Africa only) intending to visit India for any purpose
(including their dependents on appropriate category of dependent visa)
except those on Tourist Visa.
Seamen from EU/Schengen area, South America, or Africa (except South
Africa) only.
Please note: Passengers travelling on flights from India to Germany should be
destined for countries in the EU/Schengen area, South America, or Africa
(expect South Africa) only. Similarly, only passengers originating from countries
in the EU/Schengen area, South America, or Africa (except South Africa) should
be allowed to travel on the flights from Germany to India.

For Vistara operated flights to and from Sharjah, please note the following guidelines as on
date:
Flights to Sharjah are applicable for:
UAE nationals and their first-degree relatives.
UAE residents with gold or silver residency permit.
Diplomatic personnel between the UAE and India, including the administrative
workers in the embassies of the UAE and the embassies of India.
Official delegations, subject to obtaining prior approval.
Travel requirements:
RT-PCR test within 48 hours from the date of departure and provided that:
iv) It is showing negative result.
v) It is conducted by an accredited laboratory, and it bears a QR Code.
vi) The time of sample collection (date and time of sample collection) and
sample reporting (date and time of test result) is mentioned accurately.
Passengers entering UAE shall:
iv) Be subject to the required public health protocol upon arrival and any
naturalization and residency conditions.
v) Wear a monitoring and tracking device.
vi) Comply with a 10-day quarantine period; and complete a RT-PCR test upon
arrival followed by two other RT-PCR tests on the 4th day and 8th day of
their quarantine period.
When travelling to UAE or Doha, please note the below requirement:
“OK To Board” message is not required for the following categories of
passengers for travel to UAE and Doha:
o Passengers holding valid resident permit or passport stamped with Resident
Visa.
o Passengers eligible for “Visa on Arrival” irrespective of nationality.
For passengers travelling with a print-out of Business and Tourist e-Visa, “Ok To
Board” message is mandatory for the below categories:
o All customers holding ECR (Immigration Check Required) passport.
o All customers travelling with a print-out of labour and work e-visa.
All passenger movement to UAE from any point in the Republic of India stands
suspended till 14-June-2021.
This decision does not apply to the members of the diplomatic missions, UAE nationals,
holders of a UAE golden visa, and passengers who exempted or granted permission to
enter UAE by the appropriate authorities.
Passengers who are exempted as stated above shall comply with the following, on and
after arrival:
1. All inbound passengers shall be quarantined for 10 days from the date of arrival.
2. PCR tests for these passengers will be carried out upon arrival at the airport, and on
the 4th and 8th day from the date of arrival.
3. Passengers must ensure that they are holding a valid COVID-19 test certificate that
is issued within the valid time frame, namely, 48 hours from the time of collecting
the sample. They should also ensure that the time of sample collection- ‘Date &
Time’ and time of reporting- ‘Result date and Result time’ are accurate.
4. Only PCR test reports from certified labs which use QR code shall be accepted.
Please be advised that this decision does not apply to outbound passengers travelling from
UAE to India.
Sharjah residents no longer need approval from ICA to return to the UAE.
If you are an Abu Dhabi or Al Ain UAE resident, visit uaeentry.ica.gov.ae before you
book your flight to verify your entry status. Take a photocopy of your passport and
UAE resident visa.
Take covid-19 PCR test within 72 hours of the flight departure time from the
approved medical facility. UAE Nationals and children below 12 years of age are
exempted from the test.
Print your negative covid-19 PCR test result. You will be required to present physical
copy of the report at the check-in counter.
You must take another PCR test upon arrival at Sharjah’s port; if you test positive,
you or your sponsor will bear the cost of isolation and medical expenses. You need
to download the Al HOSN app on your mobile phone to allow authorities to monitor
your health while you are in quarantine.
If you are a tourist or a visitor, you are permitted to travel through Sharjah ports provided
you:
Have an international health insurance coverage.
Present a negative PCR test result before boarding, this test should have been
conducted within 72 hours before the date of travel.
Take another PCR test upon arrival at Sharjah’s port.
Fill a health disclosure form at Sharjah’s port.
Quarantine yourself at your residence or hotel until the results of the PCR tests are
released.
If you test positive, you or your sponsor must bear the cost of isolation and medical
expenses. The period of medical isolation is 14 days in this case and in the event of non-
compliance of quarantine restrictions, they will be liable to strict legal action and penalties.
“Ok To Board” message is mandatory for the below category:
All customers holding ECR (Immigration Check Required) passport.
All customers travelling with a print-out of labour and work e-visa “OK To Board” message
is not required for the following categories of passengers traveling to Sharjah:
Customers holding valid resident permit or passport stamped with resident Visa.

For Vistara operated flights to Japan (Haneda) from India, please note the following

restrictions (suspension of visa waivers and cancellation of already-issued visas)

Coronavirus testing at entry:
All persons entering Japan will be tested for the Coronavirus infection at the
arrival airport.
You may have to wait for a long time at the airport until the test results come
out.
The submission of sign the Written Pledge:
All Japanese nationals and foreign nationals with status of residence are newly
required to pledge to provide the location data to the health centers or other
institutions if requested. They are required to sign the Written Pledge when
entering Japan. In case of violation, they may be subject to detention under
Quarantine Act and the following measures may apply:
1. For Japanese nationals, names and other information that contribute to
preventing the spread of infection may be made public.
2. For foreign nationals with the status of residence, names, nationalities, and
other information that contribute to preventing the spread of infection may be
made public. They may also be subject to the revocation of status of residence
and procedures for deportation under Immigration Control and Refugee
Recognition Law. Those who do not submit theWritten Pledge are requested
to stay at a location designated by the Chief of the Quarantine Station (Only at
the accommodations booked by the quarantine office) for 14 days.

smartphones for a period of 14 days after entering Japan in order to be on

be smooth when you arrive in Japan.
If you do not have a smartphone capable of using mobile app, you are required

Quarantine measures for people entering Japan from countries/regions where
mutated strains of coronavirus are found:
All foreign nationals and returnees from the "COVID-19 mutant endemic
countries and regions" are required to submit an inspection certificate within
72 hours of departure.
You will be tested for Covid-19 at the airport.
After that, you will be asked to wait at the place designated by Director
quarantine (Limited to accommodations secured by the quarantine office) and
undergo a new inspection three days after your entry.
All entrants and returnees from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Pakistan,
and Nepal will be tested again on the third day, the sixth day and the tenth day
after your entry to the accommodation (the date of entry into Japan is not
included). If the result is negative, you will leave the accommodation provided
by the quarantine office and wait at home for the remaining 14 days after your
entry.

Temporary suspension of new entry for foreign nationals from all countries and
regions:
Currently, temporary suspension of new entry for foreign nationals from all
countries and regions.
Those who have stayed in countries and regions categorized as level 3 (Avoid
All Travel) of MOFA’s Travel Advice and Warning on Infectious Diseases within
14 days before arriving in Japan) will be denied entry even if they have a valid
newly entry visa that has already been issued.
Those who have been in countries and regions categorized as level 2 (Avoid All
Travel) of MOFA’s Travel Advice and Warning on Infectious Diseases within 14
days before arriving in Japan) will not be denied entry into Japan if they have
a valid newly visa that has already been issued.
If you have a residence status of japan with a valid re-entry permit you will not
subject to entry denial.
For the details of MOFAs Travel Advice and Warning on Infectious Diseases,
please refer to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The validity of visas already issued under Business Track or Residence Track:
New entry of foreigners using the business and residence track system will be
prohibited from all applicable countries and regions.
In addition, the government has decided not to allow Japanese nationals who
have travelled overseas by business track or those who have resident status to
relax the 14-day waiting period after returning to and re-entering Japan.
Travelers with connecting flights from Japan (International and Domestic):
Travelers connecting to an international flight:
Travelers who are not entering Japan and transferring directly to a third country by
transit, are not required to submit any documents and undergo PCR tests.
However, the following cases require entry into Japan. Please be informed that
foreign nationals arriving from prohibited countries will not be allowed to enter
Japan.
Transferring between Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport) and Narita
International Airport.
Travelers with a connecting flight out of Narita International Airport the following
day.
Travelers connecting to a domestic flight:
All travelers arriving from an international flight must stay at places designated by
the quarantine chief (such as home) for 14 days from the day following their entry
into Japan. Travelers must not use public transportation (including domestic flights)
to get to their designated place of quarantine from the airport. Therefore,
connections to domestic flights can be made from the 15th day after the 14 days of
quarantine is completed.
Q. Is there any other documentation required by Vistara for travel?
A. Passengers would need to fill a self-declaration form at the time of
booking/check-in. For more details, visit www.airvistara.com.
Q. Do I need any additional clearance/pass to reach the airport?
A. Normally your ticket should be sufficient permission for enabling travel to the
airport. However, you may check if there is any additional clearance required from the
local district authorities in your area.
Q. What is the permissible baggage allowance?
A. You can carry 1 piece of hand baggage not weighing more than 7kg, and check-in
baggage allowance as mentioned on your ticket.
Q. What is the reporting time at the airport?
A. You are required to report at the airport, at least 4 hours before departure. Check-in
for the flight will close 60 minutes prior to departure time.
Q. Do I need to do a web check-in?
A. Web check-in is now mandatory. This can be done 96 hours prior to departure.
TRAVEL ADVISORY FOR PASSENGERS ENTERING INDIA:
1)
I am flying to India. Can I fly on a connecting domestic flight?
For all international travellers except travellers coming through flights originating from United
Kingdom, Europe, and Middle East:
When planning for travel, all travellers should:
1. Submit self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal (www.newdelhiairport.in)
before the scheduled travel.
2. Upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report. This test should have been conducted within 72
hours prior to undertaking the journey. Each passenger shall also submit a declaration with
respect to authenticity of the report and will be liable for criminal prosecution, if found
otherwise.
3. They should also give an undertaking on the portal or otherwise to Ministry of Civil Aviation,
Govt. of India, that they would abide by the decision of the appropriate government authority
to undergo home quarantine/self-monitoring of their health for 14 days, or as warranted.
4. Arrival in India without negative report shall be allowed only for those traveling to India in
the exigency of death in the family.
5. If they wish to seek an exemption, they shall apply to the online portal
(www.newdelhiairport.in) at least 72 hours before boarding. The decision taken by the
government as communicated on the online portal will be final.
On arrival
1. Deboarding should be done ensuring physical distancing.
2. Thermal screening would be carried out in respect of all the passengers.
by the health officials present at the airport. The self-declaration form filled online shall be
shown to the airport health staff.
3. The passengers found to be symptomatic during screening shall be immediately isolated and
taken to medical facility as per health protocol.
4. The passengers who have been exempted for pre-arrival RT-PCR testing (as approved and
indicated on the online portal in advance) will show the same to the respective State counters.
They will be prioritized for sample collection in the designated area, samples collected and
permitted to exit the airport. They shall monitor their health for 14 days (subject to negative
test report of the sample taken at the Airport that would be conveyed to such travellers by the
concerned State authorities/airport operators).
5. All other passengers who have uploaded RT-PCR negative certificates on Air Suvidha portal
shall be allowed to leave the airport/ take transit flights and will be required to undertake self-
monitoring of their health for 14 days.
6. All such passengers will also be provided the list of the National and State level surveillance
officers and the respective call centre numbers, so as to inform State/National Call Centres in
case they develop symptoms at any time during the quarantine or self-monitoring of their
health.
For all international travellers coming/transiting through flights originating from United
Kingdom, Europe, and Middle East:
1.All the clauses as mentioned above shall be applicable to such travellers
coming/transiting from flights originating in United Kingdom, Europe and
Middle East except for clauses on testing, quarantine and
isolation as specified below:
2. All international travellers coming/transiting from flights originating from United Kingdom,
Europe and Middle East as described in the scope above should submit Self-Declaration Form
(SDF) for COVID on the online Air Suvidha portal (www.newdelhiairport.in) before the scheduled
travel and will be required to declare their travel history (of past 14 days).
3. While filling SDF, apart from providing all other information required in the SDF, passengers
need to select:
a. Whether they plan to disembark at the arrival airport or take further flights to reach their final
destination in India.
b. Based on this selection, the receipt of SDF (dispatched online to the transiting travellers) will
display "T" (Transit) in easily readable and bigger font than other text.
c. The passengers will need to display this receipt to State authority/Government officials at the
airport for segregation.
Keeping in mind the testing requirements for passengers from UK, Brazil and South
Africa, who have to take connecting flights, airlines should keep the passengers
informed about the need for transit time of a minimum 6-8 hours at the entry airport (in
India) while booking the tickets for connecting flights.
All the passengers arriving from United Kingdom, Europe and Middle East shall be
carrying negative RT-PCR Test report for which test should have been conducted within
72 hours prior to undertaking the journey. The same also shall be uploaded on the
online portal (www.newdelhiairport.in).
All the travellers arriving from/transiting through flights originating in United Kingdom,
Europe or Middle East shall be mandatorily subjected to self-paid confirmatory
molecular tests on arrival at the Indian airports concerned (port of entry). Entry made in
the SDF regarding telephone number and address would be reconfirmed.
Adequate arrangements for passengers waiting for their confirmatory molecular test as
well as test results duly following effective isolation may also be made at the airports in
conjunction with the airport authorities.
The airport authority shall ensure streamlining of the systems for testing at the
concerned airports to ensure seamless sampling, testing, and waiting arrangements to
avoid crowding and inconvenience to passengers. Once passengers arrive at the entry
airport, Airport Operator should lay down a well-defined flow for such passengers at
their respective arrival terminals leading to the waiting lounges and to the exit from the
terminal.
Travellers from UK, Brazil and South Africa taking connecting flights from the arrival
international airport ('T" in their SDF):
a. Give sample at designated area and exit airport only after confirmation of negative test
report which may take 6-8 hours.
b. Those transit travellers from UK, Brazil and South Africa who are found negative on testing at
the airport shall be allowed to take their connecting flights and would be advise quarantine at
home for 7 days and regularly followed up by the concerned State/District IDSP. These
travellers shall be tested after 7 days and if negative, released from quarantine, and continue to
monitor their health for a further 7 days.
c. All those tested positive shall undergo the procedure as detailed in clause below.
All travellers from UK, Brazil and South Africa existing at the arrival airport:
a. Will give their sample in the designated area and exit the airport. They will be followed up by
the State Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP).
b. The concerned State authorities/airport operators will collect and convey the test report to
the traveller.
c. If tested negative, they will remain in home quarantine for 7 days and regularly followed up
by the concerned State/District IDSP. These travellers shall again be tested after 7 days and if
negative, released from quarantine, and continue to monitor their health for a further 7 days.
d. All those tested positive shall undergo the procedure as detailed in
clause below.
All other travellers from Europe and Middle East (other than those in flights originating from
Brazil, South Africa and United Kingdom) who have to exit the destination airport or take
connecting flights to their final domestic destination:
a. Shall give samples at the designated area and exit the airport.
b. The concerned State authorities/airport operators will collect and convey the test report to
the traveller.
c. If the test report is negative, they will be advised to self-monitor their health for 14 days.
d. If the test report is positive, they will undergo treatment as per standard health protocol.
Travellers from Brazil, South Africa and United Kingdom, testing positive (either at the airport or
subsequently during home quarantine period or their contacts who turn positive) shall be
isolated in an institutional isolation facility in a separate (isolation) unit coordinated by the
respective State Health Authorities. They would earmark specific facilities for such isolation and
treatment and take necessary action to send the positive samples to Indian SARS-CoV-2
Genomics Consortium (INSACOG) Labs.
a. If the report of the sequencing is consistent with the current SARS-CoV-2 virus genome
circulating in the country; the ongoing treatment protocol including home isolation/treatment
at facility level as per case severity may be followed.
b. If the genomic sequencing indicates the presence of new variant of SARS-CoV-2 then the
patient will continue to remain in a separate isolation unit. While necessary treatment as per the
existing protocol will be given, the patient shall be tested on 14th day, after having tested
positive in the initial test. The patient will be kept in the isolation facility till his sample is tested
negative.
The State-wise passenger manifest of the flights originating from Europe and Middle East and
landing at Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai airports in India for the said
period shall be conveyed by the Bureau of Immigration to State Government/Integrated
Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) [[email protected] and designated e-mails provided by
the respective State Governments] so that this data would be provided to the surveillance
teams. This data of manifests provided by Bureau of Immigration will be supplemented by the
online Self- Declaration Forms available on 'AIR SUVIDHA' portal.
All the contacts* of travellers arriving from UK, South Africa and Brazil who test positive (either
at the airport or subsequently during home quarantine period), shall be subjected to
institutional quarantine in separate quarantine centers and would be tested on the 7th day (or
early if develop symptoms). Contacts testing positive shall be accordingly further followed as
mentioned in clause above.
Information regarding any passenger covered within the scope of this SOP, who has moved to
another State will be immediately notified to the concerned State Health Authority. If any
passenger is not traceable initially or during any duration while being followed up should be
immediately notified to Central Surveillance Unit of IDSP by the District Surveillance Officer.
International Travellers on short stay
1. International travellers on short stay (less than 14 days) and who have tested negative and
remain symptom free, shall undergo all the procedures as above and shall be permitted to
leave India under proper intimation to their District/State health authorities, subject to them
fulfilling the requirement of the airlines and destination country.
2. Contacts of the suspect case are the co-passengers seated in the same row, 3 rows in front
and 3 rows behind along with identified Cabin Crew. Also, all the community contacts of
those travellers who have tested positive (during home quarantine period would be
subjected to institutional quarantine in separate Quarantine Centers for 14 days and tested
as per ICMR protocol.
Note:
States may consider (if required) additional requirements with regards to testing,
quarantine and isolation as per their risk assessment.
The travellers destined to a specific State are also requested to refer to State specific
official websites to be well informed about such additional requirements.
In addition to the above guidelines, the following are applicable for passengers travelling to
India from London:
Applicable for stranded Indian Nationals.
All overseas citizens of India (OCI) cardholders holding UK Passports.
Foreigners (including diplomats) holding valid Visa issued by an Indian Mission in any
category under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated 30-06-2020.
COVID test report provided by NHS for travel from the UK will not be accepted and
passengers need to book via private testing providers only.
Passengers are required to register with the High Commission of India here.

I am flying into Mumbai. Can I fly on a connecting domestic flight ?
A. On Arrival
Passengers who have completed both dosage of COVID-19 vaccine or are exempted from
institutional quarantine (both vaccination certificates and self-declaration to be produced on
arrival) can opt for the connecting domestic flight.
All other passengers arriving from Middle East/European countries are subjected to
institutionally quarantine for 7 days at their own cost, at a nearby hotel.
Exemption will be allowed under the following circumstances:
Women in advanced stage of their pregnancy
Passengers with death in their family (immediate family members)
1. No RT-PCR test will be conducted on arrival, however if the passenger exhibits any
symptoms of COVID-19 on arrival, then they will be shifted to a hospital in Mumbai for
further evaluation and treatment.
2. RT-PCR test will be conducted between the 5
th
and the 7
th
day. If the result is negative, the
passenger would be discharged from institutional quarantine after 5-7 days and would
continue to comply with 7-day mandatory home quarantine.
3. If the result is positive but the passenger is asymptomatic, then they will continue to self-
isolate in the institute for the next 14 days. The cost of the RT-PCR test(s) would be borne by
the passenger.
All other passengers coming from UK shall be subjected to the following:
All other passengers arriving from UK should be carrying negative RT-PCR test report for
which test should have been conducted within 72 hours prior to undertaking the
journey. The same also shall be uploaded on the online portal (www.newdelhiairport.in).
All passengers should submit self-declaration form on the online portal
(www.newdelhiairport.in) at least 72 hours before the scheduled travel.
All other passengers arriving from UK in all international flights would be mandatorily
subjected to self-paid RT-PCR tests on arrival at the Indian airports concerned (port of
entry).
All other passengers coming from UK will have to undergo compulsory institutional
quarantine for a period of 7 days followed by 7 days of home quarantine.
COVID test report provided by NHS for travel from the UK will not be accepted and
passengers need to book via private testing providers only.
B. In Transit
1. A transit passenger would be allowed to take their onward journey, if the passenger has a
valid negative RT-PCR test report, which has been conducted within 72 hours prior to
boarding the flight.
2. In case the passenger does not have a negative RT-PCR test report, they will undergo a RT-
PCR test at the airport. If the passenger tests negative, they will be allowed to take their onward
journey. If they test positive, they will be shifted to a hospital in Mumbai for further evaluation
and treatment.
3. The passenger shall transit through domestic air transit only.
4. Passengers who are allowed to take their onward journey through Maharashtra will be
stamped on their hands as "Transit Passenger from Europe/Middle East".
