Documents Required By Country
Directions for Submitting Records to InCred
1.) Include all institutions outside of the U.S. on your application: Upload clear scanned copies of all physical
official academic records from any institution attended outside the U.S. This includes records from all
secondary schools, upper secondary schools, sixth-form colleges, community colleges, universities,
institutes, or other post-secondary institutions attended outside of the U.S. (as well as any in-progress
coursework). See the listings on the following pages to determine what secondary school records are
typically required for each country.
2.) Methods of document submission: Upload clear scanned copies of official physical records (or digital
documents that are verifiable) directly to the InCred application. If documents are electronically produced,
InCred will need to verify them directly with the issuing authority or institution of record. If physical
documents or direct verification are unavailable, the applicant may need to request the institution send the
electronic records directly to InCred from a verifiable institutional email.
3.) Original-language documents and translations: Academic records must be sent in BOTH the original
language of instruction AND a literal English translation. Translations must be word-for-word and literal
interpretations of the original record. Certified translations are not required, but inaccurate translations will
cause delays in your processing time.
4.) Upload your records electronically when you purchase an InCred evaluation: When applying for an
evaluation, upload records when prompted (immediately after entering educational history). If the necessary
records are not uploaded initially, applicants may upload additional documents after the fact (but this will
mean your processing time will increase). Here’s how to do it afterwards: go to your ‘My Applications’ page
and click on the blue drop-down arrow to the right on the current application. This will provide a list of
options. The ‘Upload’ option will allow applicants to upload the necessary additional documents.
5.) For NAIA Eligibility Applicants:
a. Link InCred application and PlayNAIA profile: To most efficiently link accounts, register first on
PlayNAIA.org and then on InCredEvals.org. Enter ECID# from PlayNAIA on InCred upon first
registering. This ensures the final evaluation and relevant records are properly attached to the
corresponding PlayNAIA profile. If the ECID# is not available to InCred during the evaluation,
eligibility processing may be delayed. If needed, send both the InCred application number (APP-#)
b. Non-enrollment letters, class rank letters, and sixth-form letters: Documents specific to NAIA
eligibility from non-US institutions must be submitted through InCred according to NAIA Eligibility
Center policy. Letters must be in the institution’s language of instruction. Non-enrollment letters
must be submitted directly by the registrar and state that no transcript is available, including any
relevant dates or pertinent information. Class rank letters must be written on the school’s letterhead
by the principal or headmaster, assistant or vice principal, guidance counselor or registrar, and they
must include the students’ final numerical rank out of the total number of students in the school’s
graduating class based on cumulative grade averages (emailed or uploaded as a clear scanned
copy of the physical letter). For students enrolled in sixth-form college (UK-patterned education) in
the term directly preceding NAIA enrollment, a letter written and signed by a school official dated
March 1
st
or later, confirming the student's enrollment status, the end date of the program, and the
total number/subjects and level of the exams the student is registered to sit is required. Documents
emailed from the institution must come from a verifiable institutional email address.
NOTE 1: U.S. higher education institutions may have additional admissions requirements, so be sure to check with
the Admissions Office about any other documents or test scores needed.
NOTE 2: Copies of the official evaluation are made available to any institution entered as a “Credential Delivery”
option when applying. For additional institutions to receive the final evaluation after initial submission, the applicant
must fill out this form with all necessary details and submit by email.
