Matthew 3:2 "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."

Therefore produce fruit that proves your repentance,

From that time Jesus began to preach this message: "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."

Matthew 5:12 Rejoice and be glad because your reward is great in heaven, for they persecuted the
prophets before you in the same way.
5:
16
In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they can see your good deeds and give
honor to your Father in heaven.
5:
24
leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother and then come
and present your gift.
5:
25
Reach agreement quickly with your accuser while on the way to court, or he may hand you over to
the judge, and the judge hand you over to the warden, and you will be thrown into prison.
5:
29
If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away! It is better to lose one of your
members than to have your whole body thrown into hell.
5:
30
If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away! It is better to lose one of your
members than to have your whole body go into hell.
5:
31
"It was said, 'Whoever divorces his wife must give her a legal document.'
5:
37
Let your word be 'Yes, yes' or 'No, no.' More than this is from the evil one.
5:
39
But I say to you, do not resist the evildoer. But whoever strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other
to him as well.
5:
40
And if someone wants to sue you and to take your tunic, give him your coat also.
5:
41
And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two.
5:
42
Give to the one who asks you, and do not reject the one who wants to borrow from you.

Matthew 6:1 "Be careful not to display your righteousness merely to be seen by people. Otherwise
you have no reward with your Father in heaven.
3
But when you do your giving, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
6
But whenever you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your
Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.
9
So pray this way: Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored,
10
may your kingdom come, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11
Give us today our daily bread,
12
and forgive us our debts, as we ourselves have forgiven our debtors.
13
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
16
"When you fast, do not look sullen like the hypocrites, for they make their faces unattractive so that
people will see them fasting. I tell you the truth, they have their reward.
17
When you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face,

"Do not accumulate for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves
break in and steal.

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what
you will wear. Isn't there more to life than food and more to the body than clothing?
26
Look at the birds in the sky: They do not sow, or reap, or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father
feeds them. Aren't you more valuable than they are?
28
Why do you worry about clothing? Think about how the flowers of the field grow; they do not work or
spin.
33
But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

11
Whenever you enter a town or village, find out who is worthy there and stay with them until you leave.

It is the same with you. Since you are eager for manifestations of the Spirit, seek to abound in order to
strengthen the church.
13
So then, one who speaks in a tongue should pray that he may interpret.
20
Brothers and sisters, do not be children in your thinking. Instead, be infants in evil, but in your thinking
be mature.
26
What should you do then, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each one has a song, has a
lesson, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all these things be done for the
strengthening of the church.
27
If someone speaks in a tongue, it should be two, or at the most three, one after the other, and
someone must interpret.
28
But if there is no interpreter, he should be silent in the church. Let him speak to himself and to God.
29
Two or three prophets should speak and the others should evaluate what is said.
30
And if someone sitting down receives a revelation, the person who is speaking should conclude.
34
the women should be silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak. Rather, let them be in
submission, as in fact the law says.

disgraceful for a woman to speak in church.
37
If anyone considers himself a prophet or spiritual person, he should acknowledge that what I write to
you is the Lord's command.

tongues.

7
Remember your leaders, who spoke God's message to you; reflect on the outcome of their lives and

9
Do not be carried away by all sorts of strange teachings. For it is good for the heart to be strengthened
by grace, not ritual meals, which have never benefited those who participated in them.

17
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls and will give an account

Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to conduct ourselves rightly in

James 1
:2 My brothers and sisters, consider it nothing but joy when you fall into all sorts of trials,
4
And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you will be perfect and complete, not deficient in
anything.
5
But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without
reprimand, and it will be given to him.
6
But he must ask in faith without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and
tossed around by the wind.
7
For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord,
9
Now the believer of humble means should take pride in his high position.
13
Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God cannot be tempted by evil, and he
himself tempts no one.
16
Do not be led astray, my dear brothers and sisters.
19
Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters! Let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow
to anger.

able to save your souls.

9
Do not grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be judged. See, the

As an example of suffering and patience, brothers and sisters, take the prophets who spoke in the

12
And above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other
oath. But let your "Yes" be yes and your "No" be no, so that you may not fall into judgment.
13
Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone in good spirits? He should sing praises.
14
Is anyone among you ill? He should summon the elders of the church, and they should pray for him
